Back to Makkah is more than an album — it’s a collection of heartfelt stories woven into music. Released in September 2025, the project carries a rich mix of Islamic themes, family devotion, peace, and motivation, wrapped in fresh pop-folk melodies and timeless spiritual tones.
The songs take listeners through a wide range of emotions: longing for the sacred journey of Makkah, imagining what it would mean if the Prophet (peace be upon him) visited our city, and whispering gratitude in Thank You Ya Allah. Family finds its voice in touching songs like Aisha, Dear Wife, a moving Letter to My Daughter, and the joyful Wedding Song.
The album also speaks to the world’s conscience with There Is No Justice (Gaza, I Pray) — a cry for peace in times of war. Balancing this are motivational pieces like Healing Song and New Beginning, reminding us of hope, growth, and resilience.
With lyrics written by a talented group of songwriters — Adam Noor Bennett, Hana Yusuf, Fatima Idrissi, Lyra Hale, and more — every track reflects depth and authenticity. The melodies and full compositions were crafted by Kal Adam, whose voice and vision bring the songs to life, while the entire production was shaped by Rahim Zaki under the Sound of Ruh label.
Back to Makkah is not just music to listen to — it’s an album to feel, reflect on, and carry forward.
